Teaching at girls’ schools

Girls often go to girls only schools in Varanasi. Bunti, a dance teacher and member of Sanjeevani Booti, sometimes teaches basic sex education at local girls schools.

Chance India

Sanjeevani Booti works closely with Chance India, which is a Hungarian organization which organizes funding for the education of children in Varanasi. Another local organization, the Banaras Network of Positive people, has a group of about 40 children under age 18 who are HIV positive and in a bad situation. Sanjeevani Booti is exploring options for finding funding so that Chance India can provide for the education of HIV positive children in Varanasi.
